Since April 2006, the proofofpurchase website has been providing a secure registry which allows users to record information about the goods they've purchased. Then, if anything goes wrong, users can quickly gain access to all the information they might need to get things fixed.

In 2009 we introduced our support for electronic (paperless) receipts. Simply give your unique proofofpurchase.co.uk email address (issued when you subscribe) at the store check-out. We'll add any electronic receipts that come in for you to your account as well as sending the email onto your real, private email address. With over 9 million trees cut down every year just to produce receipts you'll be helping the environment.
