We believe that shops should be more helpful by recording purchase information at the time of sale. Getting things fixed under guarantee should not depend on consumers finding a "faded 3 year old till receipt"!
Since April 2006, the proofofpurchase website has been providing a secure registry which allows users to record warranty (guarantee) information about the goods they've purchased. Then, if anything goes wrong, users can quickly gain access to all the information they might need to get things fixed.
